Cathedral was developed as one of Regina’s first residential neighbourhoods along Albert Street and Victoria Avenue. The Cathedral area is a vibrant urban village know for its strong community spirit. Cathedral has become one of the most sought-after communities in which to live, work, and shop. The majority of housing is single detached and owner occupied. Being younger, more affluent ownership has resulted in restoration and renovation activity. The continued maintenance has contributed to the important historic character of the neighbourhood.
